News Mini : Man detained by CISF at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) for possessing fake IDs of MoCA and AAI. Identified as Akash Babu also allegedly cheated an IndusInd Bank staffer of Rs 9 lakh for securing a job for him at the (IGI).

On Saturday, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) team nabbed a man with fake Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India (AAI) identity cards at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Aiport. 

According to the officials, the conman duped people on the pretext of giving them jobs at the facility. The accused has been identified as Akash Babu. He was detained on Saturday morning by the CISF personnel from the foyer area of the terminal-III at IGI airport. 

Based on his suspicious behaviour, he was nabbed by the cops for further interrogation. 

“He produced two airport photo ID cards of different agencies which seems to be forged. One of the identity card was of the Ministry of Civil Aviation while the other one was of air traffic control service of the Airports Authority of India (AAI),” CISF spokesperson said.

The team investigating the case found that the suspect had “cheated” an IndusInd Bank staffer of Rs 9 lakh “for securing a job for him at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.”

Based on the complaint filed by an employee of a private bank, the suspect was handed over to the Delhi Police by the CISF team for further interrogation.
